MCN Gateway respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you use this website or ask us to move your cargo, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because our approach is simple: we only collect what we need to serve you, and we never sell your data.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount automatically:
- When you request a quote: your name, company, email, phone number, and the shipment details you provide, such as origin, destination, commodity, value, weight, dimensions and any notes.
- When you contact us by email, phone or WhatsApp: the details of that correspondence.
- When you track a shipment: the reference number you enter.
- Automatically: standard, non-identifying server logs (such as page requests) that help keep the site running and secure. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
How we use it
We use your information only to provide and improve our service:
- To prepare and send you a quote, and to answer your questions.
- To arrange, clear and deliver your shipment, and to keep you updated on its status.
- To meet customs, carrier and legal requirements involved in moving your cargo.
How your information is handled
Quote requests submitted through this site are delivered to our email inbox through a form service (Web3Forms). Our email and files are held in Google Workspace. Tracking status comes from our own operational records. We apply reasonable safeguards, including access controls and two-factor authentication, to protect your information.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the parties needed to move your cargo, for example carriers, origin agents, customs authorities and hauliers, and only as far as the shipment requires. We may also share it where the law requires. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone's marketing.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Just email mohamed@mcngateway.com and we will respond promptly.
